It can be recalled that in August this year, Sec. Mariano signed an order that made the said land under Agrarian Reform. The DAR or Department of Agrarian Reform also fix the system of land distribution which had been a problem in the past administration after the awarding went through a raffle.

Several farmers were forced to sold or have the lands awarded to them rented because of distance. In line with this, the secretary warns the renters of lands and those who abuse the situation of the DAR Awardees .
