Misael Caldogno Abreu, a five-year- old boy in Espirito Santo, Brazil weighs an incredible 178lbs (80.7kg), the weight difficult to reach by most average adults. This makes him more than three times the size of other children around the same age.

The reason for this is linked to Prader-Willi syndrome, which the doctors say he may be suffering from. This diagnosis only means Misael has slim chances of recovering from his morbid obesity because the genetic condition leaves him with an insatiable desire for food.

His parents are afraid they may lose him anytime. They say he sometimes stops breathing when sleeping. They are trying hard to provide his medical needs such as medicines and diet. His father helps him with a 40-minute walk every day.
